The National Cycling Centre is the home of British Cycling and the UK’s only permanent indoor BMX track. Fondly nicknamed the ‘medal factory’ due to the amount of cycling medals won at recent Olympic Games, the NCC is located directly opposite the Etihad Stadium is served by its own Metrolink station into the centre of Manchester.
Facilities available inside the Velodrome include:
• The Velodrome Sports Hall is surrounded by the famous track;
• A number of large contemporary teaching spaces are also utilised within the NCC, including:
o The BMX Podium Room;
o Trackbank Meeting Room;
o Home Straight Meeting Room;
o BMX Timing Cabin;
o Hospitality Room 1.
