One of our students enjoyed a first weekend working as a media co-ordinator at Premier League Productions.

Scott Moore, a Third Year BA (Hons) Sports Business and Sports Broadcasting student, has taken on the role covering Premier League games for worldwide audiences.

His first weekend was a busy one, with ten Premier League games on show.

He said: “It was a great experience! It all really set of from the first time I stepped into the building on that IMG tour that is offered to students, it just makes you want to push yourself with these opportunities!

“A lovely workspace, and an even better team that you work alongside that includes many UCFB graduates.”

Speaking about what he does during as a media co-ordinator during the matches, he added: “There is a live show that’s being recorded in the studios down below you, and you get the feed sent across on the EVS.

“My job was to clip up the presenters and guests, when they were looking at pre match analysis, the discussions done in the studio, all the way up to kick off, then it is taken over by the commentators.

“You continue to clip the show at half time when it goes back to the presenters and guests, and finally the post-match analysis after the final whistle, at the post-match interviews and press conferences from both teams.”

He finished, talking about his studies: “My time at UCFB is nearly over, however, it’s been an experience that I will never forget.

“The people you meet, the connections you make in the industry and the opportunities, are second to none! Just make sure you get yourself stuck in, in and out your comfort zone!”
