Commenting on the importance of globalisation and international growth, University Campus of Football Business (UCFB) academic, Dr Andrew Paterson, said: “A new market for any organisation is key; the ability to enter a new marketplace, with the ability to target new demographics shows the desire of any organisation to grow as a business.”

“A website is the first aspect of any business to test the market; this will allow the organisation to look at hit rates, bounce rates and also retention rates to ascertain if a more focused social media/marketing campaign would work in this country and what customers it would reach.”

Ray Boggiano, Head of Business Development for the APAC region, commented: “We’re delighted to launch our Australian website for Global Institute of Sport. This signals our intent to provide a world-beating sports education service for this market.

“Australia is a global leader in sport and education, and as such it is a perfect fit for our programs. We have plans to develop our offering here to meet the needs of the Australian sports industry, and we’re excited for the first cohort of our January intake of the MSc International Sport Management and MSc Football Business programmes to start next month with live sessions delivered in the AEST/AEDT time zone and unique access to the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground.”
