Global Institute of Sport (GIS) is delighted to announce a partnership with Playermaker which will see the company deliver its leading technology to students on its Master’s coaching and analysis programmes.

GIS will become one of the first higher education institutions to include Playermaker’s technology on its programmes, ensuring students will graduate with the knowledge and experience of using industry standard technology.

Playermaker is an innovative athlete performance tracking platform that is specifically designed for football (soccer) at every level. Utilizing a smart motion sensor on a player’s boots, it presents unparalleled insights on technical, tactical, physical, load and gait analysis, for the players and coaching staff.

The technology is used across the Premier League and EFL Championship and last year won the Best Sports Equipment or Wearable Technology prize at the Sports Technology Awards.
