Some of our media students took a trip to Wycombe Wanderers, creating a live blog, writing a match report and even conducting interviews.

Redford Elton was one of the BA (Hons) Multimedia Sports Journalism students who received a tour of Adams Park, before getting involved with Wycombe’s cup tie against Peterborough United.

Although Wycombe were knocked out of the EFL Trophy on the night, Redford enjoyed his trip to the League One club and what he learned from the occasion.

Upon arriving at Adams Park, Redford was taken around the ground, shown the changing rooms as well as the hospitality and security areas, learning much about the behind-the-scenes picture of a football club.

Redford then did a vlog during the match, of normal time and the subsequent penalty shootout.

The club was then helpful in allowing Redford to attend the post-match press conference, asking questions to then-manager Gareth Ainsworth and club captain Joe Jacobson.

After attending the match, lecturer David King asked him to create a video marking his experience.
