Tweddle is the most successful female gymnast in British history, counting World, European and Commonwealth golds amongst her collection, as well as Olympic bronze. With her success coming from the uneven bars and floor exercise, Tweddle completed her medal collection when she collected bronze on the bars at London 2012.
Following her retirement from competition, Tweddle helped to set-up Total Gymnastics, of which she is a director and ambassador, which provides children the opportunity to take up the sport at schools, leisure centres and gymnastics clubs.
