Ian spent virtually his entire playing career at Salford, racking up over 250 appearances for the Red Devils as well as leading them as captain before ending his playing career in 1998. He returned to the club in 2016 as CEO and was part of the team that saw the Red Devils reach the Super League Grand Final for the first time in 2019.
“It has been amazing so far and to be in the same classroom with cohorts from around the sporting world is superb. We have colleagues flying into class from Europe, Dubai, Las Vegas and South Africa, so you can imagine the commitment to study in the classroom.
“I personally love the debates and personal challenges the programme provides. As a group you are taken out of your comfort zone and drill down into how you operate at strategic level within a business such as sport.”
