The ECP team also provide additional events, such as: Football agent courses, Spanish courses, scouting courses and much more.

The ASA Football agent courses – led by industry experts Tony Sharkey and Ryan McKnight, allows students to gain an insight into the role of a football agent.

I loved the ASA courses, they are hosted by two prestigious people within the football industry. The courses give an insight into a number of areas including negotiation, scouting and exam support to name a few. These courses are an absolute must for anyone considering becoming an agent, but would appeal to anybody considering working within football!

With Spanish being the second most spoken language in the football industry, it is of high importance for us to provide students with the opportunity to learn the language at an intermediate level.

I have really enjoyed the Spanish lessons and was very happy that the university were able to organise them for us students. Particularly for coaching students, learning Spanish is very important as it opens a lot of doors to Spanish speaking countries to go and work. The football aspect of the lessons were very fun and interesting, offering a different perspective to the normal type of language lesson but also including the necessary vocabulary to speak appropriately in Spanish. The tutor Maria, was extremely personable, friendly, and attentive to any questions or concerns. Overall, I would say I really enjoyed the experience and I look forward to taking further lessons.

UCFB’s partnership with the PFSA allows students to gain valuable knowledge and insights into areas such as player identification, opposition scouting, talent identification, technical scouting, and performance analysis. We’re pleased to work with UCFB | GIS and support their students’ development in enabling users to delve into the world of an elite environment.

These additional events and courses are provided to enhance students development and knowledge within the sporting industry, to allow them to increase their level of employability and CPD record.
